Imagine a world...
Violence against women is not a women’s issue; it’s a human issue. If violence against women is to end, we need men to help challenge the beliefs, attitudes and behaviours that perpetuate it – in themselves, and in other men.
The problem we're facing
This week, UN Women UK released the findings of a survey that found that 80% of women of all ages, rising to 97% of women aged 16-24, say they have been sexually harassed in a public space. That means almost all of the women you know have been sexually harassed and most of them have never told anyone or thought it wasn’t ‘serious enough’ to report.
How you can help
We not only support those who've experienced the horrors of abuse, we also work to prevent it happening in the first place. We empower people, but particularly men, to stand against abuse in all its forms. If you've been thinking about how you can take a stand, one thing you can do is donate to help us speak out about the injustice of violence against women. Your donation will enable us to challenge the systems that oppress women, and work towards a world in which violence against women is no more.
