Most people are unaware just how big an issue violence against women is. Help us to raise awareness of it and encourage more people to get involved and take action!
Spotlight on the Domestic Abuse Bill
The Domestic Abuse Bill has now received Royal Assent and become law. It's hard to believe after years of work that it'll finally become law - it's taken a huge amount of campaigning and research from some amazing organisations and individuals wanting to make it as good as it possibly could be. We want to say a huge thank you to you, for speaking up and doing something. Thank you for writing to your MPs about the role of faith, and about support for migrant women. Thank you for signing petitions and using your social media for good.
We're grateful for all that'll change for survivors, but recognise the Act won't cover all that we'd hoped it would.
✅ Support more women experiencing domestic abuse
✅ Make threatening to share intimate images illegal
✅ Recognise fatal strangulation as an offence
✅ Recognise economic abuse
But, it doesn't...
❌ Guarantee support for migrant victims of abuse
❌ Make changes to universal credit, reducing economic abuse
We give thanks for all the change that the Bill will bring and we commit to being there for, and speaking up on behalf of, those who will not get the help and support they so desperately need.

'Everyone who saw it was saying to one another, "Such a thing has never been seen or done, not since the day the Israelites came up out of Egypt. Just imagine! We must do something! So speak up!"'

Campaign With Us
We’re passionate about changing the systems to lead to abuse. We want to ensure that no woman faces abuse. We’d love you to join us in campaigning for change.
We don't have any specific campaigns on the go at the moment, but if there's something you're particularly passionate about or if you have an idea for campaigning with your church, we'd love to hear from you.
We love for people to support our awareness raising at events, as well as our fundraising efforts. For more information about volunteering for Restored, check out this page.
