Help make sure every survivor can find support
In the past year alone, 296 more women have joined our Survivors Network.
Each of them needs help and support as they navigate the complicated journey of domestic abuse recovery. Each of them deserves to know that they are heard, believed and cared for.
But the truth is, at the rate the network is growing, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to keep up with demand. You can help by giving to support a survivor.
Set up a gift todayOur Survivors Network was founded ten years ago with just a handful of women. Since then it’s grown exponentially, and we’ve seen just how vital it is for women to be surrounded by a community of others with shared experience and an understanding of their faith. A place to belong, find healing, and take steps forward in recovery.
Just having someone to talk to can be life changing – take a look at Kate’s story below to see the difference it made for her.
A gift from you will make sure every survivor can access this support.
Fewer waiting lists, more tailored support; every survivor of domestic abuse finding the help they need, when they need it.
“Many women like me aren’t believed or supported when they ask for help from their church. It leaves you wondering where you should go – should you give up your faith? Should you bottle up what’s happened and push it down? For me, being able to talk about it has been monumental.”
We don’t want women like survivors to be kept waiting to talk to our support team. We don’t want them to be sitting on waiting lists to join recovery courses and peer support groups. We want them to receive the help they need, at the moment they have the courage to ask for it.
By setting up a regular gift today, you’ll be joining a community of others who are committed to standing with survivors on the road to recovery. You’ll be showing more women like Kate* that there are people out there who believe and care for them.
