Prayers for Churches to address domestic abuse

Praying as a church for survivors of domestic abuse, reflecting on our own complicity and affirming our beliefs in the value of men and women can be an important part of shifting the culture to one that never tolerates abuse. It can also make it much easier for a victim or survivor to come forward and disclose any abuse, as they discover that this is a safe space to speak up.

We've included suggestions for corporate prayer, small group settings, and particular times of the year that provide great opportunities to pray about domestic abuse.
