The 16 Days of Activism

The 16 Days of Activism is a global campaign to end Gender-based Violence. It runs each year from the 25th November – the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women – to the 10th of December – International Human Rights Day. During the 16 Days, organisations and individuals across the world  campaign to end Gender-based violence, raising awareness and calling leaders to take action.

There are loads of ways that you can join in with the 16 Days, and we’ve created a range of free resources to support you. We’d love to hear what you get up to – drop us a message to share your stories!

16 Days 2025: UNiTE to End Digital Violence Against Women and Girls

The theme of this year’s 16 Days is ending digital violence. Campaigns will focus on keeping women and girls safe online, highlighting issues like cyber-stalking, ‘revenge porn’, cyberbullying and other form of online harassment. In our increasingly digital world, it’s more important than ever that we talk about these things and call on our governments and tech companies to take action.
